Mouse Pad Contest
This week the Sacramento library celebrate a National Library week for design a computer mouse pad celebrating the spring reading theme "And To Think That I Got It From The Library". For the reward, one winning design will be printed for use at public computer in Sacramento Public Library branched. With this opportunity, I design a mouse pad by adobe photoshop. I took my own picture of a flower, changed it to a painting and set it as a background. Then I used some of the image to express the theme that "I got it from library" with people reading book and a baby try to learn and discover a new world. I hope this is a good start for me to learn more about design in my future.

Firstly, you should not use too much fonts in one design. seconly , the word "Sacramento public library" in the right side is difficult to read because the font you choose look like "hand writing" and the font color seems to be similar to the blue back ground areas. Finally, i recommend you should use "pen tool" to crop the image. although it take you more time to crop, it looks better than "magic tool". anyway, It looks cool. ^^
Hey Duy, You are sure a theory boy. Yup, I agree with Duy in those points. Those are some rules that You should remmember when you design Thao. Hope you get the award anyway. If you have chance, work more with pen tool and try some more cropping.
